Rehema Children’s Care Centre Project is committed to serve the Destitute, Orphans and the poor kids. We are clear about taking in abandoned, orphaned, and destitute kids. We believe in the Triune God, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit who has spoken infallibly to us through a clear and sufficient word, the Bible, and who has acted to rescue His people through penal and substitutionary death of Jesus Christ.

We are the Bible believing project, whose aim is to rescue and take in kids. We believe that the heart of God is now crying for the kids. All children have a right to live and taken to school, but in a place like Bosinia village the grinding reality of poverty/ HIV/AIDS often forces children into early childhood labors, streets, pick-pocketing rather than the class room. Rehema Children Care Centre is a life changing project into orphans lives and destitute children in Bosinia village and other areas. Children often drop out of school because they need to work to sustain their lives.

We have a large population of street and ovc children in need from Kitale town. Our project at Bosinia village is a settlement of mainly IDPs who fled their homelands during the ethnic violence in 1992. Most families have a small plot. Some have been issued title deeds while the majorities remain technically squatters. The socio-economic situation within the settlement is poor with most families relying on seasonal casual labor for subsistence. Alcoholism is also a common problem. The ethnic clashes, HIV/AIDS and general squalor have all taken their toll and left many children in the 'care' of distant relatives and/or ageing grandparents. General poverty and helplessness means many of these children would not receive an education at all and malnutrition is common place.
