Problem Statement

 

Africa is currently home to 95% of the world’s 13 million children orphaned as a result of AIDS.  At this rate the numbers will rise to at least one third of African children being orphaned by the year 2013.

Orphans in Africa suffer recurrent psychological trauma starting with the illness and deaths of their parents followed by cycles of poverty, malnutrition, stigma, exploitation, and often abuse. The combination of increasing number of orphans, decreasing number of caregivers and weakened extended families, together with poverty, means that orphans are more likely to fall through traditional safety nets. We can only show love to these children by “seeing and doing something about their need.”

 

 

Thousands of kids are dying without hope, millions in our countries are kids, many of them are miserable, many of them are orphaned due to HIV/AIDS, if nothing is done today we’ve no future for our countries, and communities. Our ministry is geared towards changing lives and affecting their eternity. Many kids here in Bosinia Village, Kenya Africa are left orphaned; they don’t have any hope for their future life. The Bible talks about being great and least in the kingdom of God, some the Bible says will sit on thrown, meaning they will be kings, and some will be priests. This clearly tells us that some will be subjects. The kings and priests are them that were pure and washed themselves with the Blood of the Lamb. Mathew 25:31-46 talks of all the nations gathering at His coming, they are separated from each other, one group on the right and another group on the left. Nothing is spoken about their preaching in big meetings or going to church, but feeding, clothing and visiting Jesus in jails and hospitals.

Be part of this project and save a life of even one kid with us, Rehema Children’s Home is a caring project that transforms lives through God’s love for the orphans & destitute children, by providing them with shelter, medical treatment, clean water, food, and clothing and by taking them to school. We are convinced that we cannot effectively present the true Gospel and claim of Christianity at large to any one unless we fully understand believe and live in them. He who despises does not help the poor – mocks, abuses, reproaches- but he who helps them honors God.

 

 So we are praying God to provide us with people who have a heart of serving in Africa through our ministry.

LET US SERVE ORPHANS AS WE SERVE GOD.

 

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES:

 

a) To provide care and support for orphans and other vulnerable children at the centre.

b) To provide medical, psychological and material to ovc.

 

c) To construct and equip orphanage and homes for children in the district.

d) To partner with other organizations to improve guardians income generating activities.

 

e) Assist the orphans and vulnerable children get education in order to realize the possibility of productive employment, minimizing their risk of being exploited and of themselves becoming infected with HIV. Access to good quality education will have a profound and lasting impact on the economic and social development of the whole country and would do much to alleviate the impact of HIV/AIDS on orphans and vulnerable children.

 

The cry of our hearts is to see this place get a school built, Water pumps, toilets, Clinic, training centre for tailoring and computer and make sure that the kids get clean water, food and clothing.

 

These children needs are very serious that need to be addressed NOW! And not tomorrow. The call to these children is stronger than before- kid’s life has to be better because they’re the leaders of tomorrow, we believe that if we can change these young ones today, they will also change their entire community from poverty.

 

We have children of between ages 5-14 and they are under our care. We thank God for this blessing of the children.

After all our Savior Jesus Christ said, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."(Matthew 25:40) amen.
